| Custom handmade jewelry is usually made using one of two processes. One method is lost wax casting in which the jewelry is carved in wax by the jewelry designer and cast in the precious metal that the customer chooses.
The other method is called jewelry fabrication. This is where the piece is constructed using solder, sheet, wire or other parts to make the unique custom piece. Both types of jewelry making can be done in sterling silver, gold or platinum. |
