Handmade Jewelry That You Design
Custom handmade jewelry is usually made using one of two processes. One method is lost wax casting in which the design is carved in wax and then cast in a precious metal. After it is cast the ring or pendant is filed, sanded and polished. Finally the gemstones are set and any special finishes are applied.

The other method is called jewelry fabrication. This is where the piece is constructed using solder, sheet, wire or other parts to make the unique custom piece. Both types of jewelry making can be done in sterling silver, gold or platinum.
